Enable FTP service

By default, FTP service is turned on for registered users. FTP lets users log on and transfer files to and from your server.

Allow Guest access

Select this option only if you need to provide FTP access to people who are not regular users.

Guest access to FTP service is also called "anonymous FTP." This allows anyone on your network (or on the Internet if you are connected to it) to use FTP client software to log on to the file server and transfer files from share points. (Share points must have Read privileges assigned to the Everyone category.)
